Ahh Paris, the city EVERYONE wants to visit. Its high on the bucket list, with many bucket list activities. There is so many things to do in fact, that it’s easy to forget the most important, or once in a lifetime experiences. Well, I’m here to remind you of what you should DEFINITELY be doing on your visit to Paris (trust me, i’ve been there :p).
Must Have Experiences!
Renting a Ferrari
This ones for the men and women that love cars… Don’t jump to conclusions and say you can’t afford this yet. I went to Paris with a budget of 90 euros a day for two people. Renting the Ferrari also happened to be 90 euros for 30 minutes… I know it doesn’t seem long but it’s an expensive car, and your in Paris. You don’t have to be 25 either.
You rent the Ferrari, and drive it with one of the employees of the renting company tagging along. Then, stop in front of the Eiffel Tower for a photo of you and the car. How do you find this experience? Glad you asked! Walk up and down Champs Elysees, there will be several Ferrari models and colors. Just walk up to the guys and ask to rent.
Tour The Catacombs
The catacombs are another crazy to say the least, experience. It’s the largest mass grave in the world with over 6 million people inside (dead, in the form of bones of corse). This activity really is different from everything else in Paris. It also carries so much history for the city which is another reason it’s a must.
Day Trip to Versailles Palace
This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen! It’s only a 40 minute RER ride out of the city. You can explore the palace and the gardens amongst several other “little” estates. The gardens were a maze. We got lost so many times, but it was the good kind of lost. It was raining when I went, which was perfect because nobody (but me) wanted to stand out in the rain to get those perfect pictures. You can also rent a golf cart to ride around the gardens, but you have to be 25 for that…
These of course are not the only things to do in Paris. While it’s true everyone has their own opinion on whats a “must have experience”, these are just the things I enjoyed most on our trip. This list is to be besides the point of the obvious “see the Eiffel Tower”, “drink coffee in a cafe” recommendations. I hope you try these activities out and find your own must have experiences along the way! What was your favorite thing you did in Paris? Be sure to comment below!!!
